SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — Content Enablers, the global leader in online trade compliance training, today announced the release of its Nuclear Export Controls training, a one of a kind in the industry that provides a comprehensive background for employees with functional responsibilities related to the nuclear fuel cycle.
“Understanding the control mechanisms outlined in international treaties and regimes is the best way to deter potential nuclear proliferators from engaging in illicit activities,” said Brad Kabanuk, president of Content Enablers. This training gives a comprehensive background of the nuclear export controls mechanisms outlined in a number of international treaties and regimes. The course discusses specific control issues relating to the export of physical goods, technology and software, brokering activities, transit and transshipment, and the provisions of technical assistance, as well as a brief discussion on the import of nuclear technologies. Specific training is offered on the nuclear export control regimes of the EU, the U.S., and Canada.
“Training provides users with an understanding of how employees are impacted by and can affect trade compliance within their organization,” said Kabanuk. “As with all Content Enablers modules, our training modules can be personalized using the CE Curator to present company-specific procedures and policies.”
