ITAR
Although, the Export Administration Regulations are the principal controls applied to the vast majority of exports from the United States, the Department of State's International Traffic and Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and the U.S. Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") regulations principally govern transactions involving munitions and certain designated countries, entities and persons subject to embargo type trade restrictions, respectively. This course is designed to provide users a solid introductory understanding of the ITAR and its requirements.
