Project Name: Development of International Finance CD ROM training course.

Description:
The main project objective was to increase the Foreign Commercial Service (FCS) personnel's awareness and knowledge of trade financing options and procedures. The training program was designed to help the client assist U.S. companies compete more effectively in international markets and improve their foreign trade capabilities. The export finance training program CD-ROM that provided a rich learning experience for the user by combining valuable content, proven learning practices and the latest technology, we can provide an intelligent, yet cost-effective training system for the Department of Commerce.
The Team coordinated efforts with public and private sector partners, i.e. Ex-Im Bank, World Bank, Asia Development Bank and private sector lending institutions, to develop relevant training modules to specifically address environmental project finance. Specific program requirements included:

The training course introduced a Finance Template, focusing on the users understanding of obtaining necessary information to make accurate recommendations to U.S. exporters. Functionality included the explanations of why a incorrect answer is wrong, the ability to rank one user against his or her peers, and full reporting ability to DOC management.
Users register for training course, conduct activity at self-pace and are provided certification upon completion. System will allow for electronic submission of results for compilation and tracking by client to maintain awareness of user progress.
